About Nicholas Oughtibridge’s website
My aims for this site and the three areas of my life I aim to cover.
Starting with who am I? A simple question without an easy answer. A Yorkshireman, a husband and father, a health informatician, a data architect, an IT geek, a Rotarian, a volunteer. Perhaps in time this site will give a clearer view of who I am.
Next, what are my aims for this site. They are two-fold. Firstly, to share anything I think is worthy of sharing with people I think may be interested. That may cover any aspect of my life, but don’t expect a torrent of meaningless drivel. Secondly, to act as an aide-memoir for some of the tips and tricks I come across as I try to contribute to the world.
Finally, what are the three areas of my life I intend to cover? Firstly, my work as a health informatician and lead data architect for the National Health Service in England. Secondly, my thoughts on the IT industry as a whole and thirdly my voluntary work with Rotary and with the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
